We are very happy to announce that a big Toogethr pilot will starts at business park De Beukenhorsten in Hoofddorp this month. De Beukenhorsten houses big companies such as, among others, ASICS, Omron, YoungCapital, PostNL and Dura Vermeer. The Toogethr pilot is part of the Beukenhorst Bereikbaar project.
Sustainable mobility & De Beukenhorsten
Office park De Beukenhorsten aims to become the most sustainable office park of the Netherlands. Toogethr of course has to be part of that! De Beukenhorsten is centrally located in the Haarlemmermeer Municipality, in the Amsterdam, Haarlem and Leiden triangle. The company park is also located close to Schiphol Airport. The landscape, with 35 metres wide green zones, walking tracks and gardens, is the main structure with water as the linking element.
The Beukenhorst Bereikbaar project is an initiative of Beter Benutten, ASDC, Delta and Haarlemmermeer Municipality. They have far-reaching sustainability ambitions in accordance with the principles of Cradle to Cradle, where buildings and projects are being re-used in a high-quality way. These sustainability ambitions take various forms, including sustainable mobility. Time for Toogethr!
Carpooling with Toogethr
The employees (travelling by car) received an invitation to download the Toogethr-app. They are pro-actively matched with colleagues or employees from other companies at De Beukenhorsten based on location, working hours and car possession. This way they can easily carpool to the same work location.
Carpooling enables employees and organisations to reduce their CO2 footprint, increase their business network and receive rewards in the shape of credits. These credits can be exchanged for cool prized in the Toogethr web shop! They also save on fuel and there are more parking spaces available in the many parking garages at De Beukenhorsten.
What could be more fun than riding to work together while having a pleasant conversation? Should you end up in a traffic jam anyway at least you will be Toogethr!
